An elegant Scandinavian sofa from the early to mid-20th century, characterized by its balanced proportions, gently curved armrests, and refined upholstery. The sofa is fully upholstered in a deep red velvet, giving it a rich, tactile presence and a quietly luxurious expression. Attributed to the Danish design company Fritz Hansen from the 1940s.

The backrest features subtle button tufting on the front, while the reverse side is detailed with a central wooden panel—an intentional and functional design element typical of the period. This exposed wood detail adds visual interest and allows the sofa to be placed freely in a room, not only against a wall.

Resting on short, slightly curved wooden legs, the sofa maintains a light and elegant stance despite its generous seating.
