Anglo-Indian Elephant Stool / Table, Ebonized Hardwood, circa 1900–1920

€675.00

A sculptural antique elephant side table dating to circa 1900–1920, executed in the Anglo-Indian tradition and likely of Burmese origin.

Crafted in ebonized hardwood, the table features three finely carved elephant heads forming the base, with elongated trunks serving as the legs and contrasting lighter tusk details. The round top shows a rich natural patina, adding character and authenticity to the piece.

Originally conceived as a pedestal or occasional table, it functions beautifully today as a side table or decorative accent. Condition is antique, with age-appropriate wear and patina consistent with use.

This distinctive piece will complement many interior styles. A primitive, wabi sabi, Scandinavian, Modern or Antique home decor.
