Art Deco, Daybed Reupholstered in Lambswool, Danish Cabinetmaker, 1930s

A sculptural Scandinavian Art Deco daybed or chaise longue. The piece is characterized by its elegant asymmetrical silhouette with a gently raised backrest at one end. Made by a skilled Danish Cabinetmaker in the 1930s.

The frame is crafted in oak wood and features a rectangular base with carved feet. The daybed has recently been newly upholstered in soft honey-colored lambswool, giving the piece a warm and luxurious texture while emphasizing its sculptural form.

A special feature of this design is that the upholstered daybed can be removed from the outer frame, allowing it to stand independently on four slender legs.

This fine daybed / sofawill complement many interior styles. A Vintage, Antique, Classic, Scandinavian, Mid Century Modern, or an Art Deco home decor.
