Danish Art Nouveau, Chaise Lounge in Oak & Lisa Larson “Mikey” Upholstery, 1920s
A characterful early 20th century Art Nouveau chaise canapé in solid oak, reflecting the decorative traditions of Danish Art Nouveau furniture inspired by Rococo forms. The piece features a sculptural wooden frame with carved details and elegant proportions, combining both functionality and ornamental craftsmanship. Made by a skilled Danish Cabinetmaker in the 1920s.
The piece has been newly upholstered in fabric designed by Swedish artist Lisa Larson, Model “Mikey”. The playful yet refined pattern adds a contemporary artistic layer, creating a striking contrast to the classic oak frame.
