Danish Baroque Revival Oak Three-Drawer Chest with Brass Hardware, 1940s
A charming Danish three-drawer chest crafted in oak from the mid-20th century. The chest combines traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship with strong Baroque-inspired detailing, giving the piece a particularly sculptural and characterful appearance.
The shaped front features three drawers with beautifully contoured façades, each fitted with decorative brass escutcheons. A moulded and shaped top follows the lines of the chest, while the scalloped lower apron and four curved cabriole-style legs complete the distinctive silhouette.
The warm natural oak grain and rich patina emphasize the craftsmanship and architectural quality of the piece. Its compact proportions make it particularly versatile, suitable as a small chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, side cabinet or accent piece.
This fine chest of drawers will complement many interior styles. A Vintage, Antique, Classic, Scandinavian, Modern, or an Art Deco home decor.
