Mid-20th Century, Danish Wall Mirror in Solid Oak, Scandinavian Modern Design
A beautifully proportioned mid-century Danish wall mirror presented in an oak frame and marked on the reverse by Aarhus Glasimport og Glassliberi A/S, a well-regarded Scandinavian mirror and glass producer active through much of the 20th century.
The oak frame exhibits a warm, natural patina developed over decades of use, complementing the clear mirror surface with a refined yet understated character. The clean lines and simplicity of the framing reflect the restrained modernist sensibilities often found in Scandinavian interiors during the post-war era, while the quality and weight of the materials speak to the craftsmanship of the period.
Equally compelling when used alone or as part of a curated interior, this mirror complements settings ranging from Scandinavian Modern and Mid-Century Modern to Classic, Minimalist, or Eclectic spaces. Hung above a console, in a bedroom, or as a focal point in an entryway, its refined presence adds both depth and light to the room.
