Danish Mid-20th Century, Dining / Desk Chair in Lambswool, Eva Koppel, 1950s
A refined dining / desk chair from the mid-20th century, distinguished by its elegant wood frames and softly sculpted back. Attributed to the Danish couple Nils & Eva Koppel, made in the 1950s.
The seats are newly upholstered in luxurious lambswool, offering a warm, tactile contrast to the smooth wooden structure. The backs are left unupholstered, allowing the natural wood grain and gently curved form to remain visible—an important design feature that highlights the chairs’ lightness and clarity of expression.
This fine and rare chair will complement many interior styles. A Vintage, Classic, Scandinavian, Modern, or an Art Deco home decor.
