An outstanding example of mid-20th-century Swedish design, this chair is part of the renowned “Sportshyttemöbler” / Svensk Fur collection by Göran Malmvall for Karl Andersson & Söner, representing the best of Scandinavian Modern craftsmanship. Designed and manufactured in Sweden around the 1940s–1950s, the piece showcases the warm character of solid pine and Malmvall’s thoughtful approach to form and structure.

The lightly sculpted seat and backrest, along with subtly contoured legs and frame, reflect a refined yet relaxed aesthetic originally inspired by rustic “sports cabin” furnishings but elevated here through precise proportions and joinery.
