A beautiful and sculptural “Kurul” armchair in oak & lambswool, designed by Henning Kjærnulf for EG Kvalitetsmøbel, Denmark, during the 1960s.
The chair features a highly distinctive curule-style construction with sweeping curved legs and arm supports, joined by a carved circular medallion at each side. The broad oak backrest is finished with a decorative carved lower edge, while the pronounced grain and warm tone of the solid oak emphasize the chair’s expressive craftsmanship and sculptural character.
