A rare and highly decorative Art Deco bistro table manufactured and marked by Louis Vuitton, France, during the 1920s–1930s. This beautiful table was crafted in Paris during the 1920s for Louis Vuitton as part of a limited production run for the Orient Express restaurant series.
The table features a beautifully patinated red-painted cast iron frame with elegant architectural detailing and slender cross-bracing. The base retains its wonderfully timeworn surface and is stamped with the LV mark, giving the piece a distinctive and authentic character.
The rectangular original wooden top beautifully complements the sculptural iron base and retains a rich aged surface with visible grain and patina. The combination of the original wooden top, Louis Vuitton marked cast iron base and beautifully preserved patina makes this an unusual and highly characterful example of French Art Deco furniture.
