Pair of Razorblade Armchairs by Henning Kjærnulf, Oak & Lambswool, 1960
A stunning pair of oak armchairs designed by Henning (Henry) Kjærnulf for E.G. Møbler, Denmark, circa 1960s. Crafted in solid oak with beautifully sculpted details and expressive baroque-inspired lines, the chair reflects Kjærnulf’s distinctive blend of traditional craftsmanship and bold Scandinavian modernism.
The oak frame displays a rich warm patina with beautifully pronounced grain patterns, highlighting the natural character of the wood. The seat has been newly upholstered in soft honey-colored lambswool, adding warmth and texture while complementing the darker oak tones beautifully.
With its architectural silhouette and decorative carved details, the chair functions equally well as a statement desk chair, occasional chair, or accent piece in a living room, hallway, or bedroom.
This fine armchair will complement many interior styles. A Vintage, Scandinavian, Modern, Wabi Sabi, Antique, Brutalist, or an Art Deco home decor.
