Round Extendable Oak Dining Table, Danish Mid Century Modern, 1960s
A beautiful and sculptural round oak dining table made in the style of Henning (Henry) Kjærnulf in Denmark during the 1960s.
The table is crafted from solid oak and features Kjærnulf’s characteristic expressive craftsmanship, with four distinctive carved legs and a detailed apron giving the table a strong architectural and sculptural presence. The warm oak and visible grain emphasize the natural character of the material.
The table measures 120 cm in diameter and includes three extension leaves, each measuring 50 cm. With all three leaves inserted, the table extends to an impressive 270 cm in total length, transforming the compact round table into a generously sized dining table, making it both highly decorative and practical for larger gatherings.
