Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen, Round Dining Table, Danish Modern, 1970s
A distinctive Danish dining table designed by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen and manufactured by Magnus Olesen A/S in the 1970s.
The table consists of two separate semicircular sections, each constructed in oak wood with a muted green linoleum tabletop. When placed together, the two sections form a large round dining table. They can also be separated and used individually as console, desk, or half-round tables, making the design particularly versatile.
The elegant bentwood legs and clean construction are characteristic of Thygesen and Sørensen’s functional approach to Danish furniture design.
This fine dining table will complement many interior styles. A Vintage, Classic, Scandinavian, Modern, or an Art Deco home decor.
