An elegant antique Danish writing desk crafted in richly mahogany, featuring a green felt inset writing surface. The desk reflects refined early 20th century craftsmanship with balanced proportions and understated detailing. Made by a skilled Danish Cabinetmaker for Struer Town Hall.

The desk is fitted with two drawers. The upper drawer is designed with a green felt writing surface. Beneath the felt is a central storage compartment, flanked by two smaller compartments with wooden lids — ideal for organizing letters, stationery, and writing tools. The lower drawer is a spacious, traditional storage drawer.

The mahogany displays a deep, warm tone with a beautiful age-related patina that enhances the natural grain. Clean lines and restrained ornamentation give the piece a timeless and versatile character.
